Payworks Coach of the Month

Christine Curtis has been a teacher at Vincent Massey High School in Brandon for over 20 years, starting at the school in 2002. Over the years she has committed so much time to extra and co-curricular activities. She runs the school's badminton program, is the Zone 15 badminton convenor, and she also is very involed in the school's fast pitch program. Coach Curtis' is always willing to help out in any aspect of the school. 

Recently, her varsity and junior varsity programs did very well at the Zone Championships and Vincent Massey will be well represented at the upcoming Provincial Badminton Championships. Coach Curtis' dedication to the community and athletics also extends into the community where she is very involved in curling, mixed slo-pitch, pickleball, curling, among many others. 

Coach Curtis exemplifies the role of teacher and coach and is known for her dedication to both. She holds herself, her students and her athletes to the highest standard. Vincent Massey High School is extremly thankful for all of the hours that she puts in volunteering and ensuring students have opportunities to excel both within the classroom, as well as on the hard court and diamond.
