Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Ishan Sharma of the Maples Badminton team.

In his first badminton tournament of this season, he finished third in boys singles at the Maples Masters. The next weekend at the College Louis Riel tournament, he finished second and this past weekend at Gimli he finished first. Athletic Director Matt Medwick states, "Ishan will be one of our leaders as Maples looks to excel at the KPAC zones and at provincials next week."

He currently has a 90% academic average in his grade 12 courses an also participates in cross country and track and field at Maples.
