Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Ada Chartier of the Birtle Falcons Badminton team.

Chartier had an excellent showing at the Minnedosa Invitational Tournament, going undefeated throughout the whole tournament with a record of 6-0.  For her efforts she claimed the JV Girls Singles A-Side Championship. Coach Taylor Madsen states, "Ada is a very hard worker. She attends every practice and focuses on the little details that help her succeed."  Chartier also recently finished second in JV girls singles at the Zone 10 Badminton Championships advancing her to the Provincial Badminton Championship coming up May 2-4 in Winnipeg.

This grade 10 student maintains an 87% academic average.
