The 2024 Grey Cup Legacy Male High School Coach of the Year was awarded to Marshall Jones of Institut collégial Vincent Massey Collegiate (Winnipeg).

Marshall has been the head coach of the Vincent Massey Trojan’s varsity boys volleyball team for the past 14 years. He has also been a key part of West Winnipeg Athletic Council’s (WWAC) golf and volleyball steering committees.

In his role as head coach of the Trojan’s varsity boys volleyball team the squad has made it to the MHSAA Provincial Championship Final Four in 2015, 2021, and 2022. This past school year the team went 49-0, won all five tournaments, were WWAC league champions and captured the MHSAA’s AAAA Provincial Championship banner - the school’s first varsity boys provincial volleyball crown.

Marshall has been named Volleyball Manitoba’s coach of the year twice, first in 2015 and recently in 2023. He guest coaches at multiple summer camps, previously ran the Trojans volleyball club for numerous seasons, and currently runs early and middle years coaching clinics in Pembina Trails School Division.
