Payworks Coach of the Month

Donnie Smith coaches the Garden City Gophers baseball team and convenes the Zone 14 Baseball League. This past season the team went 6-0 in league play defeating the Lord Selkirk Royals in the Zone finals with a score of 11-6 to become this year's Zone Champions. Within the last 6 years Donnie has coached the baseball team to three Provincial Championships (2019, 2022, 2023) and four Zone banners (2018, 2022, 2023, 2024).

In addition to baseball, Donnie is the head coach of the Gophers boys hockey team.
